Answering your FAQ - Restocks!

Answering your FAQ - Restocks!

One of the most common questions I get is: “When will you restock x y or z?”. And the answer is… a little different from most shops!

Because every single item is hand-painted by me, restocks don’t happen in the traditional way. I don’t have unlimited stock sitting on shelves - instead, I release limited collections throughout the year. Each piece is made with love and creativity, and once a design is gone, it’s gone for good!

In past years, things worked a little differently - I’d often repaint popular artworks and restock designs on request. But this year, I’m leaning into a new creative rhythm: painting once, letting it shine, and then moving on to the next spark of inspiration. Each collection becomes a time capsule of creativity, and I’m loving the freedom that comes with constantly evolving ideas.

So when do new earrings drop?

I usually release a new collection every 4–6 weeks. Each launch has a different theme or vibe - from bold street-art inspired pieces to soft floral palettes, to sparkly festive styles. I also run my popular Seconds Sale twice a year, where you can grab perfectly imperfect designs at bargain prices.

If you're keen to snag your favourite pair before they sell out (and they do sell out fast!), here’s how to stay in the loop:

  • Join my email list – it's the VIP way to get early access, sneak peeks, and launch dates.

  • Follow along on Instagram @lapetiteluludesigns – I share lots of behind-the-scenes looks and countdowns there.

  • Set your alarm for launch nights – collections usually go live at 7pm AEST (Brisbane time) on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday, and the most popular styles don't last long. While I try and predict what these will be and make accordingly, sometimes I assume wrong - and stock is always limited.

Why don’t you restock old styles?

Because everything is made by hand, I focus on keeping things fresh and exciting - which means I’m always dreaming up new designs rather than recreating old ones. That said, I do tend to always include fan favourite shapes in new colour-ways - so if you have a favourite style you love to wear, let me know! Your feedback helps shape future drops.

Thanks for supporting handmade and embracing the magic of one-of-a-kind art for your ears.
